Built for Webflow

The app fits the way Webflow sites are built, from the Designer to the CMS.

No Code Required

Place widgets from the Designer panel. There is nothing to paste per page and no scripts to hand-edit.

Made for the CMS

Add a widget once on a Collection Template and every post gets its own comment thread automatically.

Your Billing, Unchanged

The app is free to install. Your plan stays on your FastComments account, billed by FastComments as usual.

Up and Running in Minutes

Four steps from install to live comments.

1

Install the App

Add FastComments to your site from the Webflow App Marketplace and open it in the Designer.

2

Add the Loader

4

Publish your site and your widgets go live, with a separate thread per page.

Webflow Integration FAQ

Common questions about running FastComments on Webflow.

Is there a free trial?

plus-icon

Yes. FastComments offers a 30-day free trial with full access to every feature, including live chat, reviews, and SSO. No credit card is required to start.

How does billing work?

plus-icon

The Webflow app is free to install. Webflow does not charge for it. You pay FastComments for your plan on your FastComments account, exactly as you would without Webflow, and you can change or cancel it there at any time.

Does it work with the Webflow CMS?

plus-icon

Yes. Add a widget once on a CMS Collection Template and it appears on every item in that collection. Each published item gets its own comment thread, derived from the page path, with nothing to configure per post.

Why do I add a loader script?

plus-icon

Webflow's Designer can place an element on the canvas but cannot run the code that turns it into a live widget. The one-time loader script, added to your site footer, finds the widgets you insert and boots them on the published page. You add it once and it powers every widget.

Can I sign my own members in?

plus-icon

Yes. FastComments supports Single Sign-On so your logged-in members comment under their existing identities. You can also let visitors create their own FastComments accounts or comment anonymously.

Is it GDPR compliant?

plus-icon

Yes. FastComments is GDPR compliant, offers EU data hosting, and provides tools for data export and deletion. Choose the EU region in the app to route the widgets through EU infrastructure.
